Taxonomically, Lupin can be classified into Order: Fabales; Family:Fabaceae; Subfamily:Faboideae; Tribe:Genisteae; Genus:Lupinus L. Australia still becomes the biggest producer of Lupins in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of Lupins from Australia reached 865,619 tons. Geographically, in Australia, Lupins cultivation can be found in Western Australia, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.

2.Poland            

Poland is the 2nd biggest producer of Lupins in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of Lupins from Poland achieved 221,390 tons. Geographically, in Poland Warmia and Mazury region are some of the main cultivation areas of Lupin. 

3.Russian Federation    

Russian Federation is the 3rd biggest producer of Lupins in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of Lupins from Russian reached 69,723 tons.

4.Morocco
