iPhone and Financial Contribution to Apple Revenue-iPhone still become the major revenue contributor to Apple Inc.  As a one of world's most popular smartphones, iPhone still become the most searched smartphones in the world from time to time. Many people always wait the new products and its embedded new technology around iPhone which makes it difference to others. From Steve Jobs until Tim Cook, iPhone still become the leading product of Apple Inc.

Historically, iPhone was firstly introduced on January 7^th, 2007. It was the new breakthrough technology of Smartphone. At that time, Apple in the rebuilding era of the company under the guidance of Steve Jobs after leaving the company for so long. The comeback of Steve Jobs makes this company found its identity with new breakthrough technology. One of those breakthroughs is the iPhone.

Since its introduction in 2007, the sales of iPhone increased from time to time. It can be one of the most popular Smartphones in the World. The Journey of iPhone still in good trend. Until 2023, many series of iPhone have launched from the iPhone, iPhone 3, iPhone 4, until iPhone 16 and many people still trust in this product.

Financially, iPhone still become the financial contributor in boosting Apple Inc's revenue.  In the year of 2023, Apple still become one of the biggest company in the World with total assets around 352 billion US Dollars and gained the revenue around 383 billion US Dollar and net income in 2023 around 96 billion US Dollars.

Based on the Financial contribution of each product, iPhone still become the major contributor of Apple Inc. iPhone can contribute around 50%-52% of Apple’s revenue/net sales in 2023 and 2022. Apple service is in the next position with contribution around 20-22 % to total Apple’s revenue/ net sales.  Mac and iPad are in the next position with contribution around 8-10% to Apple’s revenue/net sales, respectively. The sales of iPhone in 2021 is about $ 191 billion, and it increased into $205 billion in 2022, but slightly went down $200 billion in 2023. All the data was obtained from the Annual Report of the company in 2023.   

Based on the geographical regions, iPhone and other product and services have the biggest market shares in America region. The sales of iPhone and other apple products and service around 153 billion in 2021, 169 billion in 2022, and 162 billion in 2023. Europe region in the second place as a contributor of Apple revenue with the sales around $ 89 billion in 2021, $ 95 billion in 2022, $ 94 billion in 2023.  China is the next contributor with sales around $ 68 billion   in 2021, $ 74 billion in 2022, and $ 72 billion in 2023. Meanwhile, Japan contributed $ 28 billion in 2021, $ 25 billion in 2022, and $ 24 billion in 2023.
