These sunflower seed oil can be used as a cooking oil and it also is benefit for health as medicine. Functionally, this vegetable oil contains unsaturated fats which are good for heart organ. Russia becomes the world’s largest country producer of Sunflower Seed Oil in 2021. Statistically, according to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of sunflower seed oil from Russia reached 5,248,935 tons. Geographically, there are some specific regions of sunflower production in Russia. These regions include Krasnodar territory, Rostov, Belgorod, Saratov, Voronezh.

 

2. Ukraine

 

Ukraine still becomes the 2^nd world’s largest country producer of Sunflower Seed Oil in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of Sunflower Seed Oil from Ukraine reached 4,928,742 tons. Based on the production area in Ukraine, there are some specific areas of sunflower production. Geographically, in this country, the main production area of sunflower seed located in Kirovograd, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions.

 

3. Argentina
