Commonly, oil palm trees (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is one of world’s most planted tree species in 2022. Many countries including Indonesia planted this agricultural commodity because of the usefulness in making palm oil, soap, cosmetics, and others derivative products. Sinarmas Agro Reources and Technology (SMART) was an agribusiness oil palm company that was founded on 1962. Basically, Smart Agro Reosurces and Technology still becomes a part of subsidary of Sinar Mas Group. This Group was founded by Eka Tjipta Widjaja (1921-2019). In the beginning period, the name of SMART was PT Maskapai Perkebunan Sumcama Padang Halaban.

PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk was founded on October 28, 1983, by Mr. Rudi Suhenda and Mrs. Johanna Wirjoprawiro.
