6 World’s Best-Selling Car Models of CUPRA in 2025- SEAT Cupra S.A.U. or commonly known as Cupra is Automotive companies and a subsidiary of Spanish car manufacturer namely "SEAT S.A.". Operationally, SEAT Cupra still has its headquarters in Martorell near Barcelona, Spain and has total employees of around 13,000 professionals. In terms of manufacturing process, Seat S.A. has production centers located in Martorell, El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona.

In the past, The Cupra rooted from SEAT’s motorsport division and the “Cupra” name, stands for “Cup Racing”. The Model of Cupra was the SEAT Model, but it has improved in car racing competition. In 2017, SEAT’s CEO, Luca de Meo, saw the opportunity of Cupra becoming an independent brand. Finally, on 31 January 2018, Cupra officially confirmed that as an independent brand under SEAT S.A. CUPRA Formentor is a compact crossover SUV manufactured in 2020 with the body style of 5-door SUV and the assembly location at Martorell, Catalonia, Spain.
