Historically, Buffaloes (Bubalius bubalis) originated from the Indo-Gangetic plains, thrived in Asia and commonly can be classified into two classes namely riverine buffaloes (Bubalus bubalis) and swamp buffaloes (Bubalus carabanesis). India still becomes the main country’s producers of Buffalo meat in 2021. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of buffalo meat from India reached 1,635,507 tonnes. Geographically, the area of buffalo production in India can be found in several states. Some of the main production areas are Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab. In India, there are many Indigenous buffalo breeds. Some of them are Murrah, Surti, Jaffrabadi, Bhadawari, Nili Ravi, Mehsana, Nagpuri, Toda, Banni, Bargur, Chhattisgarhi, Chilika, Gojri, Kalahandi, Marathwadi, and Pandharpuri.
2.Pakistan
