Rosaceae; Subfamily: Amygdaloideae; Tribe: Maleae; Subtribe: Malinae and Genus:
Pyrus L. So, basically, it has a close relation with other plant species,
namely roses, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, apples, plums, peaches,
apricots, and almonds. Historically, pears were cultivated in China as early as
