connection between ŠKODA and Volkswagen group started on 28 March 1991 with a
joint-venture partnership agreement, marked by the transfer of a 30% share to
the Volkswagen Group on 16 April 1991. Later, Volkswagen raised its share ownership
on 19 December 1994 up to 60% and the year after. On 11 December 1995, the
share ownership increased to 70%. Finally, on 30 May 2000, Volkswagen AG bought
the remaining 30% of the company, thus making Škoda Auto a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Volkswagen group. To date, Skoda still has employees of
around a total of 84,215 people.

1. Octavia
The Škoda Octavia is a small family car produced since
1996. As of 2023, Škoda Octavia has entered the fourth generation introduced in
2019 at Prague. Based on specific models, there are Škoda Octavia Combi and

The Škoda Superb is a mid-size/large family car (D-segment)

fourth-generation Superb introduced on 2 November 2023. Operationally, this car
was assembled in Kvasiny (Czech Republic), Shanghai (China),
Solomonovo (Ukraine), and Oskemen (Kazakhstan) and the designer of Škoda Superb

The Škoda Enyaq iV is a battery electric vehicle compact
crossover SUV that was introduced in September 2020 in Prague. Commonly,
the Škoda Enyaq was assembled at the Škoda plant in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic,
and the designer of this Škoda Enyaq iV is Omer Halilhodžić, Dalibor Pantůček.
Specifically, this electric vehicle used a lithium-ion battery with Permanent

introduced in 2021. Commonly, the designer of Škoda Kushaq was Dalibor Pantůček
and it was assembled in Chakan, India. Specifically, Škoda Kushaq is equipped
with petrol engine (1.0 L TSI 115 I3 and 1.5 L TSI 150 I4). Overall, in
2024, the total production of Škoda Kushaq reached 18,045 units.
10. Slavia
Škoda Slavia is a subcompact sedan (B-segment) manufactured
