These commodities still become the major commodity due to the high demand of consumptions to Canadian citizen.

With national Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of Canada around USD 2.21 trillion based on International Monetary Fund database in 2023 and population more than 40 million people (Statistics Canada, 2023), Canada still has become a highly developed country. Based on the Government of Canada Database, Agriculture sector still become the main pillar of economy in Canada. in 2021, overall, the whole agriculture and agri-food system can employ 2.3 million people or providing 1 in 9 jobs in Canada. Financially, according to Canadian Chamber of Commerce,  the agricultural sector has generated $ 143.8 billion (around 7.4 %) of Total Canada's Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

1.Wheat (Triticum L)     

Wheat is the most produced Agricultural Commodities from Canada in 2022. According to FAO Statistical Corporate Database (FAOSTAT), the production of wheat from Canada reached 34,334,787 tons. In this country, the planted wheat can be divided into spring wheat and winter Wheat. Geographically, spring wheat mainly cultivated in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba. Meanwhile, winter wheat in Canada can be found mostly in ontario and some minor production in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. in Canada, wheat can be used as staple food, fuel and statistically, wheat still becomes the Canada's largest field crop grown. Every year, canada also exports wheat to other countries.

 

2.Rape or colza seed (Brassica napus)

3.Maize (Zea mays)
